Satguru Nanak Sahib at Messologhi(Greece)
From the city of Athens the whole team went to the town of Messologhi by ship. They reached there in the evening before Sodar. Almighty Satguru ordered Bhai Sahib Mardana Ji to set the Rabob in Sri Raag so that they can sing in the praise of the True Owner of this universe.Almighty Satguru uttered these Holy Lines--Sri Raag Mahalla-I Ghar 2-Holy Page 23 of SGGS.Please note that there were all fishermen in this village. He advised them through their own profession. In these holy lines the Almighty Satguru clarified that He(Almighty God is the the consumer of Rasas(Rass) and He Himself is the taste). He Himself is the catcher of the fish wheras He Himself is the fish the same time(Prof. Sahib Singh And other Panthic dignitaries). My true Owner Is enjoying hither and thither and He is full to the brim.He is the fish whereas He is the catcher of fish(Jaal). In short, Nanak Request the Almighty God that He Himself is the ocean and the crane Himself. He is the Lotus flower and the Flies.Satguru advised the residents of Messologhi that it is not their food or their dress that counts but it is the Name of Almighty God which counts to cross over the diffcult ocean of this universe.Salok Mahalla-I on Holy Page No. 142 Of SGGS.In these Holy Lines Almighty Satguru clarifies to the whole universe that --"Kiya Khadhe Kiya Padhe Hoi Ja Man Nahin Sacha Soi"The Greeks do the simran but they do in their own language. They say Agia Fouse(Satkartar or Waheguru both the words meaning thereby Illahi Nur).Kindly note that is not the work or job which count but the True Name of the Almighty God is essential that count. This is the most practical theory of this universe. Therefore, the views of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib is 100 per cent in accordance with that of Satguru Nanak Sahib Ji as regards food.Food should be made the item of the foodjust to survive physically and not the part of religion.Sikh-Rehat Maryada published by SGPC,Sri Amritsar has clearly mentioned that only Kutha is Prohibted by a Sikh. Kutha is defined as the preparing of meat in a Mohammedan way.Hence the meat is totally the part of food and not the part of religion at all. If meat is related to job and work, then the Holy lines of Bhagat Sadhna Ji can not be included in the Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The fifth Nanak(Satguru Arjan Sahib) has mantained the same theory of Satguru Nanak Sahib in Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
