Timau is Between Naynuki & Meru.
On His return journey from Makindu Sahib, Almighty Satguru Hargobind Sahib, went along Athi River from Makindu Sahib.The traders were in Naynuki and Meru. These towns were built in 15th century.Satguru Hargobind Sahib and 50 sikhs reached Naynuki.There were Diwan of Almighty Satguru in Naynuki and Meru,but main Diwan was held at Ngishishi ,Timau.After the Diwan of "Sri Asa Di Var", the villagers and the tradees prayed to Almighty Satguru Hargobind Sahib to bless them with sweety water.The villagers used to collect water from rain olly,as the water under earth was salty.Satguru solved the long standing problem of the villagers by blessing "A Spring of Sweet water".(from my Photo-Album of East-Africa).
