What I Could not Do, Almighty God Did for Me.
In the first week of December, 2009, I appealed on the radio in Toronto, to give me a reference for Kampala. One person came forward, but what telephone no. he gave to me, was not responding at all. I was totally confused what to do and what not.On 8th of December, I left Pearson Airport, Toronto, with an optimism that some Punjabi passenger will meet me at the Airport in Nairobi. I reached Amsterdom Airport by KLM flight. I tried to see any Punjabi passenger, going for Uganda.I got a passenger, going to Nairobi and I was extremely happy to get some reference for Uganda. But she said sorry as she had no contact in Kampala or Entebbe. I did not give up my efforts and hope, though inwardly I was worried a bit for my safety. I was still hopeful to get someone at the Nairobi Airport. Satguru was keeping my blood pressure perfect. He had some different plans. It is rightly said by Holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji on Holy Page No. 1280 that almighty does all the arrangements. " Dharam Karaye Karam Dhuron Phurmaya----". Holy Page No. 1280 of SGGS. I completely surrendered to His Holy Will at Amsterdam Airport, after the young collegiate said sorry to me there. When I reached the Nairobi Airport on the evening of 9th December, 2009, because Kenya is eight hours ahead of time from Toronto. At the Nairobi Airport I was happy to find a couple of Punjabis.I thanked the Almighty God and Almighty Satguru. But for my surprise, all those Punjabi passengers were going to Tanzania and not to Entebbe( Uganda). Counter No. 4 is used for both Tanzania and Uganda. My last hope has gone. But as I told you earlier that no body knows His arrangement. The counter incharge annouced the departure of the flight for Entebbe(Kampala). Now please listen the arrangement made by Almighty Satguru for me.
A businessman from Uganda, named Hakim, had a transit flight for Entebbe. He came from Johannesburg with his stuff. He deals in frames for microwaves. He had brought some specimen frames from South Africa for Kampala. He sat near to me and exchanged hello. He asked me the reason of my worriness. I told him that I could not get any reference for Kampala except one telephone No..From his mobile, he dieled the required no, but no one was responding on that No.. For your kind information, that No. belonged to Ramgarhia Sikh Society, Old Kampala. The reason why no one was responding from that no.,was that the ring of that No. was kept on mute by chance. Our flight reached Entebbe at about 11.40 P.M. in the dead darkness of the night. Mr. Hakim and I reached Kampala around 3 A. M., by a taxi ( Entebbe is about 40 K.M from Kampala). We both tried hard unsuccessfully to find a Gurdwara Sahib in Kampala due to night. We both stayed in a hotel and virtually took our showers and brekfast there as we have to leave the hotel before 10. A.M. We reached the hotel at about 6 A.M. Then we got a telephone directory from a post office.Meanwhile, Hakim has telephoned to his brother, Usman, a teacher in Uganda. All the trio finally happened to a Gurdwara Singh Sabha. Bhai Baljeet Singh, Head-Granthi, welcomed us.I am indebted to Mr. Hakim for giving support at a time of night, when only Almighty God was with me only.
